Ravens fans wear No. 27 jerseys’ to support Ray Rice
A large number of Baltimore Ravens fans wore Ray Rice jerseys Thursday night as they made their way into M&T Bank Stadium, where the Ravens were set to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Some of the fans interviewed by media said they were not going to get rid of their Rice jersey because they supported him and would continue to show their support.
Thursday marks the first game since Rice was cut by the team and suspended indefinitely from the league after a video of him knocking out his now-wife in an elevator was posted online.
The Ravens have offered fans the opportunity to trade their Rice jerseys in for another team member. Local businesses are offering services in exchange for Rice’s jersey so they could be destroyed.(Photo: ESPN)
I support the changing of the Washington Redskins name as long as all of these teams change their name too…
Dallas Cowboys – The “Cowboys” where a brutal group of killers. Just ask Wyatt Earp and the people of Tombstone.
Green Bay Packers – How the Gay and Lesbian community do…
And he’s been going all day. The fact that he can continue for hours is more than enough reason that this needs to stop.
